North Korea Guide - How To Visit & What To See In 2012by Daniel Norris

Kindle version of our 70 page illustrated travel guide will take you to North Korea, one of the most unique travel experiences available today - and a visit is surprisingly easy to organise as a guided tour. Don’t miss the armed demilitarized zone (DMZ), separating North and South Korea, and the “show-capital” of Pyongyang with it’s huge military parades and spectacular theatrical productions.

You will be one of only a small number of outsiders who visit the country every year, and will see attractions, experience situations, and hear opinions that you will not experience anywhere else.

We include a fully linked Table of Contents and internally to access context-specific information quickly and easily when offline. Many web links are included as well for additional information.

Covering Islam: How the Media and the Experts Determine How We See the Rest of the World

Covering Islam: How the Media and the Experts Determine How We See the Rest of the Worldby Edward W SaidVintage Digital

Edward Said takes an unusually sharp and penetrating look at the way in which the experts, the policy-makers and the media have dealt with the crisis in Iran and the Middle East. He shows how our traditional misunderstandings of the outside world have led us to continue to misunderstand events of enormous and immediate importance. Using many examples, COVERING ISLAM demonstrates that the media and the government-business establishment have produced a dangerously misleading and oversimplified portrait of Islam and Muslims, based on ignorance, inaccuracy and prejudice.
